Rendering of New Hyundai Sonata Released

Hyundai has clearly been trying to revamp its current design philosophy. This is evident in both recent concept cars as well as in recent models such as the Genesis sedan and coupe.

Further evidence of Hyundai’s shifting design are the recent drawing of the 2011 Hyundai Sonata sedan. The design is more fluid than the current generation says Chicago Used Hyundai thanks to its flowing sheet metal, graceful crease along its shoulderline, and the roofline is distinctively coupe-like for a four-door sedan.

In addition to clearly experimenting with a four-door couple design language which Hartford CT Hyundai dealers say is popular right now among premium automakers, the renderings of the Hyundai Sonata also appear to feature cues from the Genesis. According to Hyundai Service Hartford, Hyundai also hints that the Sonata will soon have a panoramic glass roof and other new features such as a six-speed automotive transmission and paddle shifters.

The existing Hyundai Sonata first debuted in 2004, so it would certainly benefit from a redesign. In addition, the current Sonata sadly didn’t quite meet sales expectations in this highly competitive segment. With a bolder, contemporary design and exciting new features, an updated Sonata will no doubt help Hyundai in the mid-size sedan segment. (more…)
