Hyundai is AdAge’s 2009 Marketer of the Year

Hyundai has seen tremendous successes despite the dearth of the new car sales. One of the ways that Hyundai has bolstered its market share is through the introduction of new models that have excited consumers, and have also excited car buyers that have never considered this brand in the past.

Another way Hyundai differentiated itself is through the advertising and marketing initiatives. For these efforts, AdAge has recognized Hyundai as the 2009 Marketer of the Year.

One of the most dramatic ads to come from Hyundai is the Super Bowl ad touting Hyundai’s unique incentives that allow consumers to return their Hyundai with no questions asked should they become unable to make the payments. The ads were not only high-profile thanks to their placement and frequency but one Birmingham used car dealer says they were successful because they also conveyed a message that was in stark contrast to that of Hyundai’s competitors.

As already mentioned, bringing new consumers to the Hyundai brand was also a challenge. The Korean automaker had long been known for small economy cars, but with the launch of the luxurious Genesis sedan and the sporty Genesis coupe, AdAge felt that Hyundai’s advertising has successfully bolstered the brand’s image. Many of Hyundai Stevens Point’s customers also felt that existing Hyundai customers were not alienated by recent advertising despite the aggressive push towards new messaging and products. Regardless, corporate adverting has paid off for Hyundai Waterford and others thanks to their  Other Hyundai ads included those promoting yet another distinctive incentive – a fixed gas rate of $1.49 per gallon for one year.

Combining ads that generate an awareness of new products with those that generate an interest in bold new incentives has helped Hyundai dramatically grow its market share in the U.S., and appears that this trend will likely continue. (more…)

Hyundai Leaves Tokyo Auto Show

The Tokyo Auto Show has faced plenty of negative press this year. In January, the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association considered canceling the show, which would have been a first in its 41 year history. However, the show has officially continued, but it seems to be getting smaller.

Hyundai is the latest automaker to pull out from the show, which is scheduled for next month. Hyundai joins a growing group of foreign automakers that will not be attending the show. Only weeks away, the cancellation is a surprise for show administrators, and Used Hyundai Marlow Heights suggests that it also indicates the need for automakers to pick and choose auto show events due to economic constraints.

Aside from Japanese automakers that will naturally have a prominent showing at the event, Hyundai’s exit leaves only two foreign automakers at the show; German manufacturer Alpina Burkard Bovensiepen and British sports car maker Lotus.

The Tokyo Auto Show had been the premier automotive event in Asia says Fairfax Honda Service, but the global economy has devastated automakers. Producing an exhibit often requires millions of dollars, and foreign automakers have chosen to save their cash rather than make an appearance.

Although an official reason for Hyundai’s exit from show was not given, it’s assumed that it was purely for cost-cutting. Richmond Hyundai Service says to expect a bigger Hyundai presence at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show. (more…)

Hyundai Tucson Teaser Revealed Ahead of Frankfurt Debut

Spy photos of the upcoming Hyundai Tucson appeared several weeks back, but Hyundai has just recently released official teaser imaged of the upcoming crossover. The Korean automaker has chosen the Frankfurt Auto Show to unveil the Tucson to the world, and it will go on sale in Korea next month.

The Hyundai Tucson has needed a redesign, as it has been long overdue admits Cash for Clunkers Pittsburgh. When it’s unveiled in Frankfurt next month, the all-new Tucson will be unveiled next to the refreshed Santa Fe as well. Although one model that will be on display will be a diesel variant, the U.S. will unfortunately not receive that option.

Designed in Frankfurt at Hyundai’s new design facilities, Bridgeton Hyundai says the Tucson will go on sale in Korea in just a few weeks, Europe will receive a version this fall, which here in the to the U.S. to the dismay of Newark Hyundai car loans specialists won’t be able to see it in person until next year.

When it finally goes on sale in the States, the Hyundai Tucson will have fresh new styling that will be more in line with recent products. The suspension and powertrain will get overhauled. The new Tucson will also feature a new six-speed automatic transmission to help this crossover maximize performance and efficiency. (more…)

Hyundai’s Plug-in Hybrid Sports Car Due in 2012

No automaker can afford not to have a hybrid in its lineup these days. This is precisely why hybrid technology remains a top priority at Hyundai. As one of the few automakers not currently offering a hybrid vehicle in the U.S., Hyundai is hoping not only to add one, but to aggressively develop a range of exciting new hybrid models.

Hyundai has a Sonata hybrid which will go on sale in Korea this summer, which will also find its way to the U.S. next year. But Hyundai Service and Parts Shillington say the more exciting news from Hyundai is that a plug-in hybrid sports car is also under development, which should be available in North America by the end of 2012.

Hints of a plug-in hybrid sports car have been made by Hyundai executives before, but this was only confirmed recently. Hyundai hopes not only to compete with the likes of the Toyota Prius or the upcoming Chevy Volt, but according to Hyundai Service Saint Louis the automaker is also hoping to give consumers something completely different. Honda is also working on a hybrid sports car which will no doubt make the hybrid market much more exciting.

Being able to display technological prowess is the main direction automakers are heading in notes Hyundai New Jersey. With hybrids now in the mainstream, it’s increasingly important for automakers to differentiate themselves. With Hyundai’s promise of an exciting performance-oriented model, Hyundai hopes to do just that thanks to a vehicle that not only is fun to drive, but can also reportedly cover 40 miles on electric power alone.

While few details have emerged, Hyundai hopes to keep surprising American car buyers. By promising power and extreme efficiency, Hyundai will no doubt have more pleasant surprises in store for the American market. (more…)

Hyundai Equus Heading to Showrooms July 2010

Hyundai has taken plenty of potential Lexus and Infiniti buyers by surprise with the release of the Hyundai Genesis sedan. With its powerful V8 engine, high quality materials, and outstanding luxury appointments, the Hyundai Genesis is certainly a very different car than others in the lineup.

While the Hyundai Genesis competes easily with the likes of the Infiniti G sedan, the Korean automaker now is setting its sights even higher with the release of the Hyundai Equus. Already on sale in Korea, the Equus will soon make it to U.S. showrooms in July of 2010 where it hopes to compete with flagship luxury models such as the Lexus LS. Like the Genesis, car loan Birmingham specialists assert that the new Hyundai should offer comparable features, but with a much more competitive price.

The U.S. spec Hyundai Equus is expected to come with a price tag of under $60,000 when it goes on sale. Hyundai Saint Louis says that for those eager to see one in person, Hyundai is looking to build upon the hype for the vehicle and will be supplying 100 Hyundai dealerships with an Equus this summer.

Hyundai appears to be bracing for another stellar success of the heels of the Genesis’ successful launch and Massachusetts Hyundai feels that the Equus will strengthen the Hyundai brand even further. The Genesis had won the 2009 North American Car of the Year award, not to mention praise from numerous editorial sources.

With the Hyundai Equus’ full-sized dimensions and available 361 horsepower V8 engine, it’s expected that Hyundai will surprise consumers again. (more…)

Hyundai-Kia Overtake Nissan in New Car Sales

Hyundai has been on a roll this year, while other automakers have struggled against poor consumer confidence and a devastating economy. The combination of quality provides, unique incentives, and delivering on the promise of value has all contributed to Hyundai’s recent success. Hyundai’s other brand, Kia, has also managed to attract cost-conscious car buyers to showrooms.

While other automakers continue to show devastating sales declines, Hyundai and Kia have not seen such severe problems. In fact, Hyundai and Kia have recently overtaken Nissan in 6th place for total new car sales. Sure this could be attributed to Nissan and other automakers selling fewer cars as opposed to Hyundai and Kia suddenly selling more cars, but New Mexico Kia stress that the sales figures certainly show that Hyundai and Kia are certainly doing the right thing in North America.

Hyundai has made numerous moves that have contributed to recent success. As the economy worsened, many automakers offered low interest rates and cash back incentives. But Hyundai Reading Pennsylvania point out that Hyundai took a vastly different approach with the Hyundai Assurance Program, which enabled new Hyundai buyers to return their cars without penalty should they lose their job or otherwise find themselves unable to make payments. Hyundai Assurance certainly reassured worried buyers, and other automakers scrambled to offer similar incentive programs.

In addition to unique incentives, one used car dealer Portland ME suggests Hyundai and Kia have been able to attract new buyers simply through high-quality products. This of course includes the luxurious Hyundai Genesis sedan which was awarded the 2009 North American Car of the Year, as well as the Genesis Coupe which was developed with the Infiniti G37 coupe as inspiration. A Kia parts Denver retailer has also seen success with the recently released Kia Soul compact crossover.

As the auto industry slowly moves forward, Philadelphia used Hyundai dealers say Hyundai and Kia seem to have positioned themselves very well. Hyundai appears to be continuing its bold push into the luxury car market, while Kia is revamping its lineup to offer more stylish vehicles, such as the Soul. With unbeatable warranties and incentives, Hyundai and Kia continue to offer cars that certainly offer some of the best value, which buyers will continue to demand. (more…)

Hyundai Tucson Not Just a Mini Santa Fe

Hyundai’s Tucson was introduced back in 2006 to compliment Hyundai’s existing SUV, the Santa Fe. As it was released, its styling and its dimensions were strangely very close to that of the “bigger” Santa Fe. But when the Santa Fe received a full redesign in 2007, the Hyundai Tucson seemed to make more sense as the Korean automaker’s entry level sport utility model.

Now several years old, the Hyundai Tucson is beginning to become a bit dated, but with more buyers interested in smaller and more efficient SUVs, Boston Hyundai expects that the Hyundai Tucson may be back on drivers’ shopping lists more than every before. Powering the Tucson is the base 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine which is mated to either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic.

Available powertrains include either front-wheel drive or an automatic all-wheel drive system that will automatically send power to the rear wheels when slip is detected. The base model Hyundai Tucson L is only available with the four-cylinder engine, while the other models have the four or six cylinder engine as an option which New Jersey Hyundai says gives potential  buyers attractive options that balance power and efficiency.

Hyundai’s Kia brand has a similar version of the Tucson, the Kia Sportage, which offers a more rugged attitude in comparison with the Hyundai. Unlike other manufactures that share platforms between brands, there are really distinctive styling between the Hyundai and Kia compacts, making each standout on their own a bit more.

Many Hyundai Tucson buyers are expected to opt for the V6 engine for the added power according to one New Mexico Used Kia dealer. The four-cylinder engine could be a bit underpowered, but the six-cylinder produces a healthy 173 horsepower and 178 lb ft of toque. The four-speed automatic also features available manual shifting.

Inside the Hyundai Tucson, drivers will find a very clean, organized dash layout that offers plenty of room for passengers up front. Although there aren’t too many frills, New Jersey Hyundai dealers believe that most compact crossover shoppers will find the interior to be plenty comfortable. Options include leather seating, heated seats, and even an auxiliary input jack for mp3 player connectivity. In back, Tucson buyers will find that the cargo area has plenty of cargo space. The cargo area also includes a hidden storage compartment and a tray to organize smaller items.

Safety features on the Hyundai Tucson include both side and curtain airbag that help make this compact an attractive option for families. As gas prices increase and new car buyers are moving farther and farther away from larger vehicles, Boston Auto Loans says that the Tucson offers an affordable, reliable compact that offers plenty of versatility.

The Hyundai Tucson as not yet seen the popularity of the Honda CR-V or the RAV4, but Used Cars Providence says that the Tucson has long offered much more than that of the competition. With a versatile interior, competitive price tag, and one of the industry’s best warranties, consumers are realizing that the Tucson has all the right stuff.

A look at the High Value 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe

The Hyundai Santa Fe has earned plenty of attention since its launch. From its conception as a compact crossover, it has since grown into a mid-size SUV and is now competing with mid-size mainstays such as the Mazda CX-7, Ford Edge, and Toyota Highlander – all of which have been more recently updated when compared to the Santa Fe.

Potential buyers of the Hyundai Santa Fe crossover can choose between two engines. The base engine is a 2.7-liter V6 that produces 185 horsepower and 183 lb ft of torque. The other engine is a 3.3-liter V6 that produces an impressive 242 horsepower and 226 lb ft of toque. The latter is mated to a five-speed automatic without the option for a manual. The smaller 2.7-liter V6 can be had with either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. Regardless of trim level, Hyundai Santa Fes are available with all-wheel drive. While the base trim level seats five comfortably, the SE and Limited models offer the availability of third row seating which remains a popular feature among Jersey City Hyundai dealers.

When equipped with the 2.7-liter V6, the Hyundai Santa Fe gets 17 miles per gallon in the city and 24 mpg on the highway with the manual transmission and 18/24 mpg with the automatic transmission. Starting at around $22K, Hyundai Car Loans and other dealers have an easy time convincing buyers that the Hyundai Santa Fe is one of the most competitively priced vehicles on the market. With ABS, excellent audio, power windows and lock, stability control, and a wide range of other standard features, value continued to be the main selling point. The Santa Fe can also be had with a 10-speaker audio system, automatic climate control, heated leather seats, and even a navigation system, enabling car buyers to get a luxury crossover for a reasonable price.
